Annam’s Sambar Podi is a homemade sambar powder that makes you an expert in Sambar.
Annam’s Sambar Podi contains handpicked natural ingredients like Red chillis, Coriander seeds, Cumin seeds, Pepper, Fenugreek, Raw rice, Bengal gram, split Pigeon peas (Toor dal), Curry leaves, Turmeric and no chemicals or preservatives.

Best before six months. Transfer contents to an air tight container and keep always tightly closed in a cool dark place. To increase shelf life store in refrigerator.
Pressure cook toor dhal with little turmeric powder. Peel and chop required vegetables into small cubes. Chop some onions and tomatoes.
Heat oil in a pan, add mustard, urad dhal, cumin seeds, fenugreek, and asafetida and curry leaves. Add vegetables, onion, tomato and sauté for a few minutes. Add Annam’s Sambar podi and required tamarind extract, salt and pressure cook for one whistle.
Open the cooker and allow it to boil for some time. Tasty Annam’s Sambar is ready.
Serve hot with rice, idli, and dosa or pongal.
